Trestle Connector
The FWRE Trestle Connector addon connects FW Real Estate to Trestle by CoreLogic — a nationwide RESO Web API platform covering MLS boards across the United States. It replaces earlier CoreLogic data products with a standardized OData v4 feed, full RESO Data Dictionary compliance, and OAuth 2.0 authentication.
What Trestle Connector Adds
- CoreLogic board access: Connect to all Trestle-participating US MLS boards with a single credential set.
- OAuth 2.0 authentication: Secure token-based access — no passwords or legacy login endpoints.
- RESO Data Dictionary compliance: Full standard field naming for reliable one-click auto-mapping.
- Multi-class import: Import Residential, Commercial, and Rental property classes in a single setup.
- Incremental sync: Fetches only records modified since the last run, minimizing API calls and import time.
- Auto-removal: Expired, withdrawn, and sold listings are automatically removed on each sync cycle.
Plugin Parameters
After installing the plugin, go to Extensions → Plugins, search for FW Real Estate — Trestle, and open its parameters.

| Client ID | Your Trestle OAuth client ID from the Trestle developer portal (trestle.mlsmatrix.com). |
| Client Secret | Your Trestle OAuth client secret. Stored encrypted. |
| MLS board | Select the board you want to import from. If your subscription covers multiple boards you can configure additional instances. |
| Resource classes | Select which property classes to import (Residential, Commercial, Rental, etc.). |
| Removed listing action | Choose whether to unpublish or delete listings no longer returned by the feed. |
Getting Trestle API Access
Create an account at trestle.mlsmatrix.com and request access for your participating MLS board. CoreLogic requires MLS membership verification before issuing OAuth client credentials. Approval typically takes 1–2 weeks.
Field Mapping
After saving credentials, open the Auto-Mapping tab. Click Suggest Mapping to match RESO Data Dictionary standard fields to FW Real Estate property fields automatically. Trestle's full Data Dictionary compliance means most fields map without manual adjustment.
Running the First Import
- Save the plugin parameters with valid credentials and board selection.
- Open the Import tab and click Run Manual Import to verify data is returned.
- Review the import log for mapping errors or authentication failures.
- Configure a cron job for automated incremental imports on your preferred schedule.
Running Multiple Connectors
Each connector plugin operates independently. Properties are identified by their MLS key, so there is no collision between feeds. You can run Trestle alongside MLS Grid or the legacy RETS connector on the same installation if your market requires multiple data sources.
Important Notes
- Available boards depend on your Trestle subscription. Log in to the Trestle portal to confirm which boards are accessible under your credentials.
- The initial full import may take several minutes for large boards. Subsequent incremental syncs are significantly faster.
