Is this add-on included in my subscription?
Yes. FWRE Spark API Connector is included in the Professional and Agency tiers of the FW Real Estate subscription. You get the add-on plus updates and support as long as your subscription stays active.

How do I get Spark API credentials?
Contact your MLS board or FBS Data Systems support. If your MLS runs on FBS Flex MLS, it participates in Spark API. Your board will provide a client key and client secret after verifying your MLS membership.

What makes the Spark API connector different from MLS Grid or Trestle?
Spark API is exclusive to FBS-powered MLS boards. If your MLS runs FBS Flex MLS, Spark API is the correct connector. MLS Grid and Trestle cover different sets of boards. The FWRE connector for each platform handles the authentication and pagination differences transparently.

How does the paginated batch import work?
Each cron invocation fetches one OData page of results (typically 200–500 records) and saves progress. The next cron run continues from where the previous one stopped. This design prevents server timeouts on large catalogs and allows import of tens of thousands of listings without special server configuration.

Are listing photos downloaded automatically?
Yes. The connector downloads and stores photos locally during the import. Images are resized to your configured gallery dimensions. Local storage means your site does not depend on the MLS CDN for photo delivery, which improves page load performance.

My MLS board is not on FBS — can I still use this connector?
No. Spark API is specific to FBS-powered MLS boards. If your MLS uses a different platform check the MLS Grid or Trestle connectors — those aggregate a much broader range of US boards. If unsure, ask your MLS board which data platform they use.
