FW Rental for WooCommerce turns WooCommerce products into rentable items without replacing anything WooCommerce already does. A shopper picks a pickup date and a return date on the product page, sees what that period costs and how many units are available, and books through the ordinary WooCommerce cart and checkout. Rental products are standard WooCommerce products — the rental facts simply ride along with them, so your theme, your catalogue, and your checkout flow are all unchanged.
The same product can be offered for rent and for outright sale at the same time. When both options are available, the shopper chooses on the product page: the rental form is shown by default, with a standard purchase as the alternative. Enabling Rental only on a product removes the outright sale option and shows only the rental form.
Everything described in this documentation is in the free plugin. Renting is never behind a subscription or a paid tier — there are no rental features held back. One optional paid add-on exists, Product Admin, which adds conveniences to the product edit screen for shops managing many items. The plugin is complete without it.
