You can save your searches on a saved searches view. This allows to quickly perform a search with no need to repeatedly enter the same search parameters. In this tutorial, we will learn how to display, locate, and manage your saved searches pages.

We will proceed as follows:

• How to display Saved searches menu item
• How to manage your saved searches

To display a menu item, you need to create a menu item and assign Properties listing layout to it. To learn how to create a menu item, follow the steps below:

1. Log in to your administrator panel using your credentials.

2. Locate Menus dropdown in the top menu of your Joomla control panel and click on it.

3. Choose Main Menu => Add New Menu Item from the dropdown.

4. Locate Menu Title textbox and enter Saved Search into it.

To assign a Saved Search layout to a newly created item, follow the steps below:

5. Locate Details tab.

6. Locate Menu Item Type field and click Select.

7. Locate FW RE Agency dropdown and choose Property Saved Searches layout from the list.

After you are done, your screen should look similar to the screenshot below.

To learn to manage your saved searches, do the following:

1. Go to the search section on the front-end.

2. Locate Country dropdown and choose Germany from the list.

3. Mouse over Region dropdown and choose Berlin from the list.

4. Locate City dropdown and choose Berlin from the list.

5. Mouse over Bedrooms dropdown and chose 1 from the list.

6. Locate Save this search button and click on it. Your screen should look similar to the screenshot below.

7. Locate Saved search menu item you have created. The search you have saved is displayed here.

8. Locate Receive notifications column and check the search.

9. Delete the search you have saved. You can delete the search in the following ways:

• Click Delete all button. Thus, you will delete all saved searches.

• Click the Trash icon next to the search. Thus, you will delete a particular search from the list of saved searches.
