FW Real Estate tutorial for Joomla!

Translations configuration and settings

Want your real estate website to speak in multiple languages in order to reach out to the clients all over the world? With FW Real Estate having a multilingual real estate website has never been so easy. In this tutorial, we will learn how to translate your website into another language.

We will proceed as follows:

How to install Joomla Language Pack

Joomla Language Pack makes it possible for you to select from many languages. To install Joomla Language Pack, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to http://community.joomla.org/translations.html.

  2. Download Joomla Language Pack for Joomla 3.x.

  3. Log in to your administrator panel using your credentials.

  4. Locate Extensions dropdown in the top menu of your Joomla control panel and click on it.

  5. Choose Manage=>Install form the list.

  6. Upload the file you have downloaded via Upload Package File tab using drag and drop area or Or browse for file button.

  1. Go to the Install Languages tab.

  2. Find French in the list of languages.

  1. Click Install button. Install as many languages as you need in that way.

How to manage translations

Once the language pack is installed, you can proceed with the component installation. To learn how to install FW Real Estate, review Getting Started tutorial. As soon as the component is installed, you can now manage your translations. To learn how to do it, follow the steps below.

  1. Locate Components dropdown in the top menu of your Joomla control panel and click on it.

  2. Choose FWRE Realtor=>Translation from the list.

  3. Locate language filter and select French as a language for your website.

  1. Click on the Front-end button. Thus, all parameters available on the front-end will be displayed along with their translations.

  1. Click Back-end button. Thus all the parameters available on the back-end will be displayed along with their translations. Make sure to check the translations the same way it is explained in the step 4.

  1. Switch between component sections and add-ons and check the translations there.

  2. Click Save button.

Once the settings are saved, check the corrections on the front-end.
