The FWFM Calories addon adds nutritional information fields to each menu item and displays them on the frontend. You can record energy, protein, fat, saturated fat, and carbohydrates per serving — useful for health-conscious menus, diet-friendly browsing, and jurisdictions that legally require calorie counts on restaurant menus.
What It Adds
Once active, a nutrition section appears inside every menu item's edit form. The following fields are available:
Energy (kcal) — caloric value per serving
Protein (g) — protein content in grams
Fat (g) — total fat content in grams
Saturated fat (g) — saturated fat content in grams
Carbohydrates (g) — carbohydrate content in grams
All fields are optional. The nutrition block only appears on the frontend when at least one value has been entered — items with no values show nothing.
Use Cases
Health-conscious menus — display full nutrition facts on each meal card so guests can make informed choices.
Legal compliance — some jurisdictions require calorie counts on restaurant menus; this addon satisfies that requirement.
Diet-friendly browsing — the compact calorie badge in listings helps customers quickly identify lower-calorie options at a glance.
Frontend Display
Nutritional data appears in two places on the frontend:
Meal detail page — a full nutrition table is shown within the meal layout, listing all populated values.
Menu listing — a compact calorie badge is displayed below the meal description, showing the energy value at a glance.

Notes
All values are per serving. There is no dedicated serving size field — if you need to communicate serving size, add it to the meal description.
The nutrition block renders only when at least one nutritional value is populated. Menu items with no values entered display no nutrition output.
