Add-ons Overview

FW Gallery's functionality is extended through addons — individual plugins that add layouts, features, and integrations to the core component. Understanding how addons are distributed, installed, and managed helps you get the most from the extension.

Bundled Design Addon

The main FW Gallery package ships with one design template addon included. This addon activates automatically after installation and provides the default frontend appearance for your galleries. No separate steps are required — your galleries display correctly straight away.

The Add-ons Panel

All other addons are managed through the built-in Add-ons panel. To open it, go to FW Gallery in your WordPress admin and click the Add-ons icon in the sidebar. The panel lists every available addon along with its current status and a corresponding action button.

Each addon shows one of the following statuses:

• Not installed — an Install button is shown; click it to install the addon.
• Enabled — the addon is active; a Disable button lets you turn it off.
• Update available — a newer version exists; an Update button is shown.
• Disabled — the addon was manually disabled; a Delete button lets you remove it from your site entirely.

Installing Addons — Site Verification

Before any Install button appears, your site must be verified with your fastw3b.com account. To verify, click the lock icon or the "website is not verified" text in the top-right area of the FW Gallery admin. A Website Key verification modal opens, containing an input field and two buttons: Get Website Key and Verify Website Key.

Follow these steps to complete verification:

1. Click Get Website Key — your fastw3b.com account opens in a new tab, showing the Client Section → Websites page with a modal displaying your site's access code.
2. Copy the access code and close the tab.
3. Return to the FW Gallery admin, paste the code into the input field, and click Verify Website Key.

Free and Paid Addons

Once verification is complete, addon availability depends on your fastw3b.com subscriptions:

• Free addons become immediately available to install after verification.
• Paid addons require an active subscription on fastw3b.com that covers the addon. The Install button for a paid addon appears only when a matching active subscription is detected. Without a relevant subscription, only free addons can be installed. Each active subscription unlocks the paid addons it covers.

Subscription status and addon availability are always shown on the product page at fastw3b.com.

Updating Addons

When a newer version of an installed addon is available, its action button changes to Update. Clicking it installs the update immediately. Updates do not affect your gallery data or configuration.
