Slideshow Module

FW Gallery tutorial for WordPress

The FW Gallery Slideshow Module displays an auto-playing image slideshow in any module position on your site. Images cycle automatically with transition effects, making it suitable for hero banners, homepages, or any area that benefits from a dynamic visual element.

Use Cases

  • Hero banner — rotate gallery images across the full width of a homepage.
  • Sidebar slideshow — compact image rotator in a sidebar or secondary content area.
  • Gallery preview — auto-play images from a specific gallery as a teaser widget.

Assigning the Module

Navigate to Extensions → Modules and locate FWG Slideshow. Assign it to your chosen module position and configure the parameters described below. The module pulls images directly from a gallery you select, so no additional shortcode or template editing is required.
