Add-ons Overview

FW Gallery uses an addon system to extend its functionality. Core features ship with the main package; additional layouts, media types, and tools are delivered as separate addons managed from within the FW Gallery admin.

Bundled Design Addon

The main FW Gallery package includes one design template addon. This addon activates automatically after installation and provides the default frontend appearance for your galleries. No additional steps are required to get a working gallery layout on your site.

The Add-ons Panel

All other addons are managed through the built-in Add-ons panel. To open it, go to the FW Gallery section in your Joomla admin and click the Add-ons icon in the sidebar. The panel lists every available addon along with its current status and a corresponding action button.

• Not installed — an Install button is shown.
• Enabled — a Disable button is shown.
• Update available — an Update button is shown.
• Disabled — a Delete button is shown. Addons you have manually disabled can be removed from your site entirely using this button.

Site Verification

Before any Install button becomes active, your site must be verified. To start verification, click the lock icon or the website is not verified text in the top-right area of the FW Gallery admin. A Website Key verification modal opens, containing an input field and two buttons: Get Website Key and Verify Website Key.

1. Click Get Website Key. Your fastw3b.com account opens in a new tab, taking you to the Client Section → Websites page where a modal displays your site's access code.
2. Copy the access code and close the tab.
3. Return to the FW Gallery admin, paste the code into the input field, and click Verify Website Key.

Once your site is verified, free addons are immediately available to install. Paid addons require an active subscription on fastw3b.com that covers the addon — their Install button appears only when a matching active subscription is detected. Without a qualifying subscription, only free addons can be installed. Each active subscription unlocks the specific paid addons it covers.

Installing Updates

When a newer version of an installed addon is available, its action button changes to Update. Clicking it installs the update immediately. Your existing gallery data is not affected by addon updates.
