FW Real Estate – Documentation

The FWRE Official Design (Agency) addon provides a complete set of professionally styled frontend templates for every FW Real Estate view. It is the recommended design for most real estate portals — covering property listings, property detail pages, agent profiles, modules, and all supported plugin outputs — without requiring any custom theme work.

The agency design operates as a separate design layer inside your existing Joomla template, making it compatible with any site theme.

Installation and Activation

After installing FW Real Estate and authorising your website key under FW Real Estate → Settings → Subscription, open the Addons panel and install the Agency Design addon from there. Once installed, go to your FW Real Estate menu item settings and set the Design field to Agency.

Updates are delivered through FW Real Estate → Addons while your subscription is active and your website key is authorised.

Property Listing Views

The agency design provides styled templates for all listing layouts:

• List — vertical listing cards showing photo, title, price, and key specs
• Grid — multi-column card grid (requires the Grid View plugin)
• Map — full-width map with property markers (requires the Map View plugin)
• Slideshow — full-screen slideshow layout (requires the Slideshow View plugin)
• Table — compact tabular layout

Property Detail View

The property detail page includes a full-width image gallery, a title and price header, and tabbed sections for Description, Details, Specification, Map, and Floor Plans. A right sidebar panel displays the Contact Form, Agent Info, and Mortgage Calculator.

Module and Plugin Templates

The agency design includes styled layouts for all FW Real Estate modules — including latest properties (horizontal, vertical, and slideshow layouts), agent, mortgage, and search modules — as well as layout files for every supported plugin: agents, brochure, compare, contact form, custom fields, favorites, floor plans, grid view, map view (Google and MapBox), open house, property manager, saved searches, slideshow view, social share, status labels, 3D tour, video, and more.

Customisation

The agency design loads its own stylesheet (fwre-design-styles.css) alongside your active Joomla template. To apply CSS overrides, add your custom rules to your Joomla template's stylesheet or use any custom CSS field provided by your template. For deeper layout changes, use standard Joomla template overrides: copy the relevant layout file from the agency design plugin into your Joomla template's html override folder and edit it there.

If the agency design is not active, FW Real Estate falls back to its built-in unstyled templates.
