3D Tour

The 3D Tour add-on embeds a virtual tour or 360° panorama directly on the property page. A tour is the closest thing to an actual viewing a website can offer — and critically, it filters. Somebody who has walked a property virtually and still books an appointment is a serious buyer. Somebody who has ruled it out has saved you both an afternoon.

Use Cases

• Fewer, better viewings. Motivated buyers self-select before they contact you, so every appointment carries real intent.
• Distant and overseas buyers. Buyers who cannot visit in person will not commit without seeing the property. A virtual tour removes that barrier entirely.
• Show homes and new builds. One scan sells every identical unit — commission it once and reuse it across the entire development.

Adding a Tour to a Property

Once the add-on is active, the property form gains a 3D Tour / Panorama card. Paste the URL your tour provider gave you and save. The add-on embeds it on the property page automatically.

The add-on is provider-neutral. Anything that can be embedded by URL works — Matterport, a hosted panorama, or any other scanning service. You are not tied to one company and can change supplier without touching your site.

What Visitors See

• The tour appears in its own section on the property page, clearly separated from photos and other content.
• A marker on the listing card indicates which properties have a tour, so visitors scanning results can spot them before clicking through. This is what makes the investment in scanning visible at the search stage.

A property with no tour URL entered shows no tour section at all — nothing is displayed and nothing is broken.

Practical Notes

• Tours are hosted by your provider, not your site. If a provider subscription lapses, the embedded tour stops working, but the rest of the property page continues normally. A lapsed account shows as a blank section rather than a broken page.
• Scan selectively. A tour is expensive per property. On a mixed portfolio it earns its place on high-value listings and on anything difficult to convey through photographs alone — unusual layouts, exceptional interiors, large rural properties.
