MLS/IDX/XML Integration Service

FW Real Estate does not include a built-in plugin for connecting to MLS, IDX, or external XML/CSV property data feeds. Instead, this type of integration is available as a custom development service provided by the Fastw3b team.

What the Service Covers

The integration service is designed for sites that need to automatically import and synchronize property listings from an external data source into FW Real Estate. Common use cases include:

• MLS feeds — importing listings from a Multiple Listing Service into your Joomla site
• IDX feeds — syncing broker or agent listings provided via an IDX data connection
• XML or CSV exports — pulling property data delivered in a structured file format from a third-party platform or data provider

The resulting integration maps incoming feed data to FW Real Estate property fields, dictionaries, and gallery images, so listings appear and behave like any manually created property on your site.

How to Request the Service

Because each feed format and provider has different structure, authentication, and update frequency requirements, this integration is scoped and built on a per-project basis. To request it:

1. Visit fastw3b.com and navigate to the FW Real Estate product page.
2. Use the contact or support channel listed there to describe your data source (MLS, IDX, XML, CSV), your provider or feed format, and how frequently listings should be updated.
3. The Fastw3b team will assess the requirements and provide details on the custom development engagement.

What to Prepare Before Reaching Out

Having the following information ready will help the team respond accurately:

• The name of your MLS, IDX provider, or data source
• A sample of the feed format (XML schema, CSV column headers, or API documentation)
• The fields you need imported (price, address, bedrooms, images, agent, custom fields, etc.)
• Your required sync frequency (real-time, hourly, daily, etc.)
• Whether listings should be created, updated, and unpublished automatically when they change in the source feed

Important Notes

• This service is separate from the standard FW Real Estate add-ons available in the Add-ons panel. It is not installed through that panel.
• The built-in Data section (FW Real Estate → Data) provides a basic CSV import/export tool for manual data operations, but it is not a replacement for an automated feed integration.
• Custom integrations are tailored to your specific feed and site configuration — scope and delivery timeline are determined during the initial consultation.
