Add-ons Overview

FW Real Estate uses an add-on system to extend the core component. Functionality beyond the essentials — maps, contact forms, SEO tools, and more — is delivered through individual add-ons that you manage from within the admin panel.

Bundled Design Add-on

The main FW Real Estate package ships with one design template add-on. This add-on activates automatically after installation and provides the default frontend appearance for your property listings. No separate configuration steps are required to get a working frontend look.

The Add-ons Panel

All other add-ons are managed through the built-in Add-ons panel. To open it, navigate to FW Real Estate in the Joomla administrator and click the Add-ons icon in the sidebar. The panel lists every available add-on along with its current status and a corresponding action button.

• Not installed — an Install button is shown.
• Enabled — a Disable button is shown.
• Update available — an Update button is shown.
• Disabled — a Delete button is shown. Add-ons you have manually disabled can be removed from the site entirely using this button.

Site Verification

Before any Install button becomes active, your site must be verified. Look for the lock icon or the "website is not verified" text in the top-right area of the FW Real Estate admin and click it. A Website Key verification modal opens, containing an input field and two buttons: Get Website Key and Verify Website Key.

1. Click Get Website Key. Your fastw3b.com account opens in a new tab, taking you to the Client Section → Websites page where a modal displays your site's access code.
2. Copy the access code and close the tab.
3. Return to the FW Real Estate admin, paste the code into the input field, and click Verify Website Key.

Once verified, free add-ons are immediately available to install. Paid add-ons require an active subscription on fastw3b.com that covers the specific add-on — their Install button appears only when a matching active subscription is detected. Without a qualifying subscription, only free add-ons can be installed. Each active subscription unlocks the paid add-ons it covers.

Installing Add-ons

After verification, click the Install button next to any available add-on. The add-on is downloaded and activated without leaving the panel. No additional steps through the Joomla Extensions menu are needed.

Updating Add-ons

When a newer version of an installed add-on is available, its action button changes to Update. Clicking it installs the update immediately. Updates do not affect your property data or existing configuration.
