The FWRE Slideshow View addon adds a slideshow layout option to the property listing page. Instead of a grid or list, properties are displayed one at a time in a full-area view with navigation arrows and optional autoplay — a visual, cinematic way for visitors to browse listings.

Typical use cases include visual property browsing where visitors step through listings one by one, and featured property showcases on landing pages where a curated set of properties is presented as a slideshow.

Enabling Slideshow View on a Listing Page

Once the addon is active, open the Joomla menu manager and edit the Properties Listing menu item for the page where you want the slideshow. Under the Options tab, find the Layout selector and choose Slideshow. Save the menu item. Visitors to that page will now see the slideshow layout by default.

Slideshow View Settings

Settings for the slideshow layout are found in FW Real Estate → Settings → General tab, inside the Slideshow View card.

• Thumbnail strip position — Controls where the thumbnail navigation strip appears relative to the main slideshow area. Options are Bottom, Left, Right, or None to hide thumbnails entirely.
• Image sizing — Determines how property images fill the slideshow area. Fill crops the image to cover the full area; Fit letterboxes the image so the entire photo is visible.
• Autoplay pause — Number of seconds between automatic slide transitions. Set to 0 to disable autoplay so visitors advance slides manually.
• Slideshow height — Height of the main slideshow area in pixels. Default is 800 px.
• Thumbnail size — Width and height of each thumbnail in the strip, in pixels. Default is 80 px.

Notes

• The Slideshow View layout applies to the property listing page only. It does not affect the individual property detail page or its photo gallery.
• If a property has no images uploaded, its slide is displayed without a photo.
