FW Real Estate – Documentation

The FWRE Status Labels addon adds colored badge labels to your property listings. Each badge appears overlaid on the property's main photo — both on listing cards and on the full property detail page — giving visitors an immediate visual cue about a property's current market status.

What Status Labels Are Used For

• Sold or reserved indicators — mark properties clearly without unpublishing them, preserving your listing history.
• New listing highlights — tag recently added properties to draw attention on the listing page.
• Price change badges — apply labels such as "Price Reduced" or "Price Increased" to signal recent pricing changes to returning visitors.

Managing Status Labels in Dictionaries

Status labels are created and edited in FW Real Estate → Dictionaries → Status. Each label has the following fields:

• Name — the label text shown on the property (e.g. "Sold", "New", "Under Offer").
• Background color — badge background color, selected with a color picker.
• Text color — badge text color, selected with a color picker.
• Published — controls whether the label is available for selection when editing a property.

Use high-contrast color combinations for readability — for example, white text on a red background for a "Sold" label.

Assigning a Status Label to a Property

When the addon is active, a Status dropdown field appears in the property edit form. Select the desired label from the list. To remove a label from a property, set the field to None. A property can carry only one status label at a time.

Frontend Display

On the listing page, the status badge appears overlaid on the property card's main photo.

The same badge is also displayed on the property detail page.

Important Notes

• Status labels are purely visual — they do not affect search filters, property availability, or publish state.
• There are no additional configurable settings for this addon beyond managing labels in Dictionaries.
