FW Real Estate – Documentation

The Status Labels addon adds colored badge labels to your property listings. Badges such as "New", "Sold", "Under Offer", or "Price Reduced" appear overlaid on the property's main photo on both listing cards and the property detail page, giving visitors an instant visual cue about a property's market status.

Use Cases

• Sold or reserved indicators — mark properties clearly without unpublishing them, preserving your listing history.
• Highlight new listings — tag recently added properties with a "New" badge to draw attention on the listing page.
• Price change labels — apply "Price Reduced" or "Price Increased" badges to signal recent pricing changes to returning visitors.

Managing Status Labels

Status labels are created and edited in FW Real Estate → Dictionaries → Status. Each label has the following fields:

• Name — the text displayed on the badge (e.g. "Sold", "New", "Under Offer").
• Background color — badge background color, selected with a color picker (hex code).
• Text color — badge text color, selected with a color picker (hex code).
• Published — controls whether the label is available for selection on properties.

Choose high-contrast color combinations for readability — for example, white text on a red background for a "Sold" label.

Assigning a Status to a Property

When the addon is active, a Status field appears in the property edit form. Select the desired label from the dropdown to apply it. Choose None to remove any existing label from the property.

Frontend Display

The assigned status label appears as a colored badge overlaid on the property's main photo on listing cards.

The same badge is also shown on the property detail page.

Additional Features

Multiple Badges — a property can display more than one status badge simultaneously, allowing combinations such as "New" and "Price Reduced" to appear together.

Auto-status Rules — status transitions can be triggered automatically based on configurable conditions. Rules are set up in FW Real Estate → Dictionaries → Status → Auto Rules.

Status-Change Notifications — visitors who have saved a search or favorited a property can receive an email when its status changes. Notification delivery works in conjunction with the Saved Searches and Favorites addons.
