FW Real Estate – Documentation

The Social Share addon adds a row of sharing buttons to every property detail page, letting visitors post listings directly to their social networks or forward them by email — with no API keys or app registrations required.

Supported Networks

Four sharing channels are available:

• Facebook — opens the Facebook share dialog in a new tab
• Twitter (X) — opens the Twitter/X share dialog in a new tab
• LinkedIn — opens the LinkedIn share dialog in a new tab
• Email to a friend — opens the visitor's default email client with a pre-filled mailto: link containing the property URL

Each enabled button opens its respective sharing dialog in a new window or tab. Because the addon uses each platform's standard share endpoint, no developer account or API configuration is needed on your side.

Configuring Which Buttons Appear

Open Settings → General and locate the Social Share card. Toggle each network on or off independently to match the channels your audience actually uses — for example, enabling only Facebook and email for a residential audience, or LinkedIn for a commercial property site.

• Share via Facebook — show or hide the Facebook button
• Share via Twitter — show or hide the Twitter (X) button
• Share via LinkedIn — show or hide the LinkedIn button
• Email to a friend — show or hide the mailto button

Disabling all four options removes the share section from the property detail page entirely.

Frontend Display

When at least one network is enabled, the buttons appear as a row of icons on the property detail page. Visitors click a button to share the current listing immediately — no copying or pasting required.
