The Social Share add-on places sharing controls on the property page and on listing cards. It covers the networks people actually use to pass a property to someone else — including one-to-one channels like WhatsApp, Telegram, SMS and a direct copy link — alongside a tracked email form.

Property is shared privately far more often than publicly. A link sent to a partner, a parent, or a colleague is the typical action, which is why messaging-based channels matter more here than public feeds, and why the email form still earns its place: it captures an address.

Use Cases

• Sending a property to someone. The most common sharing action on a property site, and it is one-to-one.
• An agent sharing stock. Copy link drops straight into whatever the agent already uses with clients.
• Getting an address out of a share. The email form records the sender as a lead in FW Real Estate → Messages.

Network Switches

Nine networks can each be switched on or off independently:

• Facebook
• X (Twitter)
• LinkedIn
• WhatsApp
• Telegram
• Pinterest
• SMS
• Copy link
• Email

With all nine switched off, the share button is not shown at all. This is the clean way to disable sharing without disabling the add-on itself.

Enable only the channels your market uses. A share menu with nine icons is one nobody reads; three or four that fit your audience get used.

Share Message

The Share message setting controls the text pre-filled when a visitor shares a property. Use the placeholder [property_title] and it will be replaced with the property's own title. The default reads: "Hello! I found this property and thought you might be interested: [property_title]" — written for one person sending to another, which is what actually happens.

Email to a Friend

The email network option exposes a form that lets a visitor send a property to a friend's email address. The sender's address is recorded in FW Real Estate → Messages as a lead. A share through this form is not just traffic — it is a contact who has shown you exactly which property interests them.

Notes

• SMS and WhatsApp open the device's own app. They work best on a phone and are worth keeping on even if the desktop share menu looks crowded — most property browsing happens on mobile.
• What a shared link looks like in a messenger or on Facebook — its title, description and image — comes from the property page itself. The SEO Booster add-on controls those fields.
• Disabling the add-on removes the share controls entirely; nothing else is affected.
