If the search form, filters, or Save Search button are not behaving as expected, the sections below cover the most common causes and how to resolve them.
The FWRE Search Module must be told which page to send visitors to when they submit a search. If the Redirect to menu item parameter is not set, the module falls back to the default component router, which may not resolve to the correct listing page — especially on sites with multiple menu items or custom URL structures.
To fix this, open the module in Extensions → Modules, locate the Redirect to menu item field, and select the Properties Listing menu item you want search results to appear on. Save the module and test the form again.

Each filter field in the search module is individually controlled by the Display fields checkboxes in the module parameters. If a filter is unchecked there, it will not appear in the form — and it will also be excluded from filtering on the target listing page when that page is reached through this module.
To re-enable a filter:
If a field is visible in the form but results are not narrowing, confirm that the corresponding properties actually have that field populated. A price filter will only work if properties have price values entered.

The Save Search button is added by the FWRE Saved Searches plugin. If the button is missing, check both of the following:

Once the button is visible, visitors who save a search will see their saved criteria in the frontend User Section.
