FW Real Estate – Documentation

The FWRE Floor Plans plugin adds a dedicated Floor Plans tab to the property edit form, allowing you to attach labelled floor plan images to any property. On the frontend, these images appear in a distinct section on the property detail page.

Use Cases

• Multi-storey houses — upload a separate image for each level, labelled "Ground Floor", "First Floor", and so on.
• Apartment complexes — show the building layout alongside the individual unit plan.
• New developments — display architectural drawings before construction is complete.

Adding Floor Plans to a Property

Open any property in the edit form. A Floor Plans tab appears in the tab bar. Inside that tab, add one entry per floor plan. Each entry has two fields:

• Title — a label for the plan, such as "Ground Floor" or "Penthouse Level".
• Image — the floor plan image to upload (JPG or PNG).

You can add as many floor plans as needed and drag them into the preferred display order. If no floor plans are added, the section is hidden on the frontend entirely.

Frontend Display

On the property detail page, a Floor Plans section lists each entry with its title and image. Depending on the active template, visitors can click an image to view it at full size.

Interactive Annotations

Hotspot markers can be placed directly on a floor plan image through the admin. When a visitor hovers over (desktop) or taps (mobile) a hotspot, a popup displays the room name and area details. Hotspots use percentage-based coordinates, so they scale correctly at any display size.

Image Guidelines

• Supported formats: JPG and PNG.
• Images are not resized automatically — upload each image at the size you intend it to display.
• Floor plan images are stored alongside the property's gallery photos in the property image directory.

This plugin has no configurable settings.
