The Grid View addon adds a card-based, multi-column layout option to your property listing pages. Instead of a vertical list, properties appear as equal-size cards with the photo prominently at the top — making it easier for visitors to browse many listings at a glance.
The addon itself has no settings panel. The grid layout is activated at the menu item level. Open or create a Properties Listing menu item in Joomla's menu manager. When Grid View is enabled, a Layout parameter appears in the menu item options.

Set the Layout parameter to Grid to make the card layout the default for that listing page.
| Layout | Description |
|---|---|
| List | Default — properties in a vertical list with details beside the photo |
| Grid | Card-based multi-column grid with photo on top |
| Table | Compact tabular layout (if Table layout is enabled in menu item params) |
Grid columns are responsive: typically three columns on desktop, two on tablet, and one on mobile, depending on the active design template. Grid View works alongside all other listing features including search filters, pagination, featured listings, compare checkboxes, and favorites buttons.

If Grid View is disabled, only the default list layout is available and the Layout parameter does not appear in the menu item settings.
On desktop, hovering over a card cycles through the property's gallery images. On mobile, swiping the card achieves the same result. Buyers can preview multiple photos without navigating to the property detail page.
A Quick View button appears on each grid card. Clicking it opens a lightbox overlay showing key property details and the full gallery. The page URL does not change, so the visitor's browser history is unaffected.
Cards marked as Featured can optionally span two grid columns, making them stand out visually among standard listings. This option is enabled per menu item in the Layout settings and requires the Featured addon to be active.
