The FWRE Search Module places a standalone property search form in any Joomla module position. It exposes the same filters available on the property listing page, so visitors can search from a homepage hero section, a sidebar, or any other position without navigating to the listing page first.
Go to Extensions → Modules → New and select FWRE Search from the module type list. Assign it to a module position and configure the parameters below.
| Parameter | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Module class suffix | — | CSS class suffix appended to the module wrapper for custom styling. |
| Theme | — | Design theme applied to the module output. |
| Layout | — | Search form layout: Default or Minimal. |
| Location fields | All | Controls how location fields appear: Separately (individual country, region, and city dropdowns), Combined (single location input), or None (location fields hidden). |
| Display fields | — | Checkboxes to show or hide individual search fields: bedrooms, bathrooms, category, type, price, area, lot size, amenities, MLS number, agent, status, ID, radius, currency, lease, availability, and the Save Search button. |
| Price/area controls | Selects | Use range sliders or dropdown selects for the price and area filters. |
| Redirect to menu item | — | The Properties Listing menu item the search form submits to. If not set, the default component router is used. |
| Background image | — | Optional background image for the search form container. |

As a visitor adjusts filters, the property listing updates in real time without a full page reload. Result counts and listing cards refresh via AJAX as each filter changes.
Applied filters appear as removable chip tags below the search form. Clicking the × on a chip removes that filter immediately and refreshes the results, giving visitors a clear view of what criteria are active.
