FW Real Estate tutorial for WordPress
The FWRE Layout Anywhere addon embeds a whole property listing — or one property's full detail view — anywhere a WordPress block can go: inside a page, on the home page, in a sidebar, or inside a page-builder section. Unlike the other FW Real Estate modules, which show a slice of listing data (a search form, a card), this one embeds the real thing, including everything enabled addons contribute.
Use Cases
- A property section on the home page. Show six featured properties for sale in one city as a grid, with no dedicated menu item pointing at a listing page.
- A landing page per area or type. One page per city or property type, each carrying an embedded listing already scoped to it — the visitor's own search then narrows within that scope.
- A single property inside editorial content. Embed one property's full detail view in a neighbourhood guide or a "property of the month" article.
Placing the Module
Add the FW Real Estate — Module block to any page or post and set its key to layout. You can also use the shortcode [fwre_module key="layout"] anywhere shortcodes are accepted.

Important Notes
- It renders as a block, not a page. The embedded listing omits the listing page's own heading, toolbar, and pagination. The block's own title serves as the heading, which is what allows it to sit naturally inside a page or article.
- Scope filters combine. A single instance can be as specific as "featured apartments for rent in two cities, newest first, six of them, as a grid."
- Single property ignores the listing settings. When Display layout is set to Single property, the scope filters, layout choice, and property limit have no effect — only the chosen property's detail view is rendered. Spotlight properties is the exception: fill it in to rotate through a list of properties at random on every page load. Clear it and the fixed Select a property choice takes over again.
