Watermark
The FWRE Watermark addon automatically overlays a logo or text onto every property photo. This protects your images from unauthorized reuse and ensures scraped or copied photos still carry your branding.
Watermark Settings
Watermark options are found in Settings → General, inside the Watermark card.
- Apply watermark — Enables or disables watermarking globally across all property photos.
- Watermark image file — Upload a PNG file (transparent PNG recommended) to use as a logo watermark. Transparency ensures the watermark blends cleanly over varied photo backgrounds.
- Watermark text — A text string to overlay on images, such as © Agency Name. Can be used instead of, or alongside, an image watermark.
- Display position — Controls where the watermark appears on each photo. Options are Center, Left Top, Right Top, Left Bottom, and Right Bottom.
Applying the Watermark to Existing Images
When you first configure the watermark, or after changing any watermark setting, click the Apply Watermark on Images button in the Watermark card. This regenerates the display copies of all existing property gallery images with the current watermark burned in. If your property library is large, the process may take some time to complete.
Original Images Are Always Preserved
The original uploaded images are never modified. The watermark is applied to separate display copies only. If you update the watermark image, text, or position and press Apply Watermark on Images again, all display copies are regenerated from the originals using the new settings. This means you can adjust or remove the watermark at any time without losing the source photos.
