FW Real Estate tutorial for WordPress

The FWRE Contact Form addon places a property inquiry form directly on each single property page. When a visitor submits the form, the inquiry is delivered by email and saved in FW Real Estate → Messages, giving you a unified inbox for all property-specific contacts.

What the Contact Form Adds

Once active, a contact form appears on property pages, allowing visitors to send their details and a message without leaving the site. Every submission is logged in the Messages section so agents can track and respond to leads in one place.

The form collects the following information from the visitor:

  • Name — always required
  • Email — always required
  • Phone — required or optional depending on your settings
  • Address — required or optional depending on your settings
  • Message — required by default, configurable
  • Captcha — shown if the Google reCAPTCHA addon is active

Contact Form Settings

Go to Settings → Addons tab → Contact Form to configure the addon.

  • Phone required — set to Yes to make the phone field mandatory.
  • Address required — set to Yes to make the address field mandatory.
  • Message required — enabled by default; set to No to make the message textarea optional.
  • Form position on property page — controls where the form appears: Hide removes it entirely, Right places it in the sidebar, and Bottom places it below the property details.
  • Send copy to admin — when enabled, a copy of each inquiry is sent to the admin email address configured in Settings → General.
  • Inquiry notification template — the email body sent to the admin or agent when a new inquiry arrives. Use variables such as {property_title}, {name}, {email}, and {message} to include submission details dynamically.

Notification emails go to the address set in Settings → General → Admin email. If the Agents addon is active, the assigned agent can also receive notifications.

Managing Inquiries

All submitted inquiries are stored in FW Real Estate → Messages. Each entry shows the visitor's name, email, and phone number; the property the inquiry relates to; the message text; the date and time of submission; and a read/unread status indicator.

Disabling the addon removes the contact form from all property pages but does not delete existing messages from the database.
