The Agents add-on turns a property catalogue into an agency. It adds agent profiles with photo, company details, and contact information; a public directory; agent assignment to properties; a bookable viewing calendar; visitor reviews; and an account area where each agent manages their own presence.
Property is bought from people. A listing with a named agent, a face, and a phone number converts better than the same listing with a contact form alone — and once an agent owns their listings, enquiries reach the person who can answer them instead of a shared inbox.
An agent is a site user with a profile: photo, first and last name, company name and company logo, phone, email, biography, and a title (for example, "Senior Agent" or "Branch Manager") drawn from a dictionary this add-on introduces. Using a shared dictionary keeps titles consistent and translatable across the site.
Photos display at approximately 150×150 pixels; company logos at approximately 200×50 pixels. Uploading images at roughly those proportions avoids unwanted cropping.

Each agent also carries availability — the days and hours they accept viewings, with each day having its own time window. Visitors can only book appointments within those windows.
These settings are found under Configuration → Add-ons → Agents.
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Approve new agents automatically | When off, a new agent registration waits for an administrator to approve it. Leave this off on a public site — this is the setting that prevents anyone from adding themselves to your agency page. |
| Agent profile on the site | Controls whether the agent block appears on property pages at all. |
| Agent block on a listing | Where the block appears: Hidden, Right column, or Below content. |
| Agents per directory page | How many agents the directory shows per page. |
| Copy property enquiries to the assigned agents | Every enquiry on a property is also delivered to its assigned agents. |

Each notification has its own subject and body, so the agency can write in its own voice:
The last two are particularly useful: an agent learns someone has shortlisted or compared their property — an early signal of interest before any enquiry has been sent.
A signed-in agent has access to their own account sections on the My Account page: their profile to edit, and their activity. When the Property Manager add-on is also active, the agent additionally sees their own listings and enquiries.
