FW Real Estate tutorial for WordPress
The FWRE Slideshow View addon adds a Slideshow layout option to your property listing page. Instead of a grid or list, visitors browse properties one at a time in a full-screen view, moving between listings using navigation arrows or waiting for autoplay to advance.
Use Cases
- Visual browsing — visitors move through properties one by one in a cinematic full-screen view rather than scrolling a grid or list.
- Featured property showcase — display a curated set of properties in a slideshow on a landing page or campaign page.
Configuring the Slideshow
Slideshow settings are found under Settings → General, in the Slideshow View card.

| Thumbnail strip position | Bottom | Where the thumbnail navigation strip appears: Bottom, Left, Right, or None to hide thumbnails entirely. |
| Image sizing | Fill | Fill crops the image to cover the full slideshow area. Fit letterboxes the image so the entire photo is visible. |
| Autoplay pause | 5 | Seconds between automatic slide transitions. Set to 0 to disable autoplay. |
| Slideshow height | 800 px | Height of the main slideshow area in pixels. |
| Thumbnail size | 80 px | Width and height of each thumbnail in the thumbnail strip. |
Activating the Slideshow Layout
When the addon is active, a Slideshow option appears in the Layout selector on the Properties Listing menu item's Options tab. Select it to set Slideshow as the default layout for that listing page.
Notes
- The Slideshow layout applies to the property listing page only. It does not affect the individual property detail page or its photo gallery.
- If a property has no images uploaded, its slide displays without a photo.
