Social Share
The Social Share addon adds a row of sharing buttons to each property detail page. Visitors can share listings on Facebook, Twitter (X), LinkedIn, or forward them to someone via email — no API keys or app registrations required.
Use Cases
- Organic reach — visitors share listings on their social networks, driving traffic back to the property page.
- Email sharing — a pre-filled mailto link lets visitors forward a listing to a friend or family member directly from their email client.
- Selective channels — enable only the platforms your audience uses, such as Facebook and LinkedIn for a commercial real estate site.
Configuring Share Buttons
Go to Settings → General and locate the Social Share card. Each network can be toggled on or off independently.
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Share via Facebook | Shows a Facebook share button on property detail pages. |
| Share via Twitter | Shows a Twitter (X) share button on property detail pages. |
| Share via LinkedIn | Shows a LinkedIn share button on property detail pages. |
| Email to a friend | Shows an email button that opens the visitor's default email client with the property URL pre-filled in the message body. |
Disabling all four options removes the share section from the property page entirely.
Frontend Display
Enabled buttons appear as a row of icons on the property detail page. Clicking a social button opens the platform's sharing dialog in a new window. Clicking the email button opens the visitor's default email application with the property link ready to send.
